Is the "Material Girl" really coming to South Africa?

There has been a lot of speculation around whether South African fans will ever get to watch their idol perform live on home soil.

Some of the world's biggest music artists have wowed local fans in recent months, so as the rumour mill carries on, the big question is: WHEN is Madonna actually coming to South Africa?

Party Liaison has seen a draft of what seems to be Madonna's 2012 Tour itinerary and according to this document, South Africa is on the list.

By the looks of it, Johannesburg and Cape Town shows are scheduled for December 2012.

No official dates have been released as yet.

For now, die-hard Madonna fans can look forward to a brand-new album in March 2012. The first single off the new album, "Gimme all your lovin", will be released in the last week of January.

For now, all we can do is wait...and hope the rumours are true.

UPDATE:

Since we published this article, Big Concerts MD, Attie van Wyk, told Die Burger that Madonna would "definitely" not come to South Africa in 2012. 

"All I can say is that she will definitely not be coming to South Africa in 2012," said van Wyk

Does that mean she'll be coming in January 2013 instead?
